Drinks with Kate – Going Virtual – 1st edition
Wednesday 6 May 2020, 3-4pm
Recent social distancing guidelines prevent us from hosting Drinks with Kate events in person. We see this as a great opportunity to expand its reach to interstate and overseas participants.
Our focus for Drinks with Kate – Going Virtual is on delivering practical insights to participants via presentations from Katestone, Weather Intelligence and allied industry experts, and group participation.
The overall theme of this first edition was: thriving through the crisis. We focused on the good stories and on ideas that may help us all go through these times.
We had 2 presentations following the message of our Managing Director, Christine Killip:
- Paul Fairweather, Creative Thought Leader, spoke about the Adaptive pre-thinking and reinvention
- Simon Welchman, Katestone Director, provided an update on the Australian overall air quality and air pollution after the social distancing measures came into place.
